Zimbabwe is using a blockchain platform to track thousands of cattle, including the process of cattle vaccination or disease treatment, and capture the data through UHFRFID tags. Farmers, buyers, veterinarians and other cattle professionals are using the data collected to confirm the health of cattle at the time of the trade.

SENTER offers this low-cost solution, called "technology for good", to digitally manage each cow. In this way, farmers large and small can better access and share information about how animals are raised, sold or traded, the company explained. This data can be used to track not only the health of each animal, but also its mortgage status (such as whether there is a lien on a particular cow)
